The NOHRD StepBox outer panels are crafted from wood-veneered chipboard that offers the warmth of natural wood while maintaining excellent structural integrity in moisture-intensive environments. All wooden components are treated with NOHRD’s signature hard wax oil, which protects against stains and preserves the wood as a living material. Attention to detail defines every element of the StepBox, which is why even the smallest pins are engineered from stainless steel to ensure for hinges subject to daily use.
