It is a place where French savoir-faire meets artisanal excellence, crafting the best of the best for yoga and martial arts practitioners worldwide. Under the leadership of Stanislas Du Beaudiez and Julie Pastour , the strategic alliance between NOHRD and Ya'Fabrik is soldered from their true founding values: innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, and ethical production.

It all started with a simple idea: what if we made the equipment we dreamed of using ourselves? Inspired by the success of the NOHRD | WaterRower collections, the founders of YA'Fabrik wanted to go one step further by producing their own combat and yoga equipment from natural materials. Unreveled by the industrial, synthetic products available on the market, they chose instead to establish their own workshop, where ideas could be shaped by hand. Located in Tourcoing, in northern France, YA’Fabrik is where the culture of skilled hands meets design innovation, producing fitness equipment defined by ecological integrity, intuitive design, and uncompromising quality.

At YA’Fabrik, craftsmanship is not simply a choice in manufacturing but a discipline of tradition. Each piece of equipment is produced within our atelier in northern France, where keep traditional handcraft techniques are preserved and practiced daily by local artisans. Cutting, shaping, stitching, and finishing are carried out by skilled makers whose knowledge has been refined through experience rather than automation. By maintaining direct control over production, YA’Fabrik safeguards a lineage of making that values patience, precision, and respect for materials as the foundation for products made to last.

The responsible use of natural materials is a founding ethos here at YA'Fabrik, not only because they look good but because they make superior products. From vegetable-tanned leather and cork to spelt husks and cotton, each material is chosen for its ability to perform honestly over time. By working with materials that age, respond, and evolve through use, YA’Fabrik creates equipment that supports the body naturally, grounded in sensory feedback, and a respect for how objects are meant to be touched and used.

UPCYCLING
Being responsible also means knowing how to give unused and well-preserved materials a second life. We collect straps and seat belts to make handles and straps for our products. They are very robust and contribute to the production of durable and high-quality products.
