The Original series
Often imitated, never surpassed. The WaterRower Original models are crafted from solid wood and feature two sturdy rails and a very quiet gliding rowing seat. The S4 monitor, which clearly displays all rowing data, is mounted on the side above the tank.
THE ORIGINAL DESIGN
In 1988, John Duke, an engineer from Yale University and then candidate for the US National Rowing Team invented the WaterRower. An evolution of the original WaterRower design, the Original Series WaterRower rowing machines all boast the classic’s features, such as the wood rails frame, and rolling seat, the water tank & flywheel. The Original Series rowers are suitable for both commercial and home environments. All come with the S4 performance monitor.

The seat moves almost silently along the rails in time with the rowing motion during training. Eight ball-bearing rollers made of wear-resistant polyurethane ensure perfect gliding. You sit comfortably on an ergonomically shaped cushion.

The WaterRower footboard offers maximum flexibility and an optimal rowing position. The footrests can be easily adjusted in height at the touch of a button.
